Well done to all the Listowel Emmets players who lined out for Feale Rangers in the 1st Round of the County Championship at the weekend. After an epic encounter that went to Extra-Time they recorded a fantastic victory over Mid Kerry in Ballylongford last Sunday. Final Score: Feale Rangers 0-19 Mid Kerry 1-15. Saturday Morning Club

The finals of the John B Keane League will take place on Friday night next at Frank Sheehy Park from 6.45pm. We've seen ome great games of football were played over the last five weeks in the John B Keane League with The Listowel Independents holding the top spot after a one point win in an exciting game and finish against the Ghleann. The Rural Rangers put on a blistering display against the Blackcock feathers to earn themselves a bonus point on top of their win while the Boro had a crushing win over their rivals the Ashes and also earned a bonus point to get themselves into the top three.  It has now become very tight at the top of the table with the Listowel Independents, Rural Rangers and The Boro all on 9 points. It will no doubt make for a great night of fun and excitement as we await the 10th Annual John B Keane champions - see you all Friday night. We will hold a raffle on the night for our end of season trip, with lots of prizes on offer.

Listowel Emmets Ladies
Listowel Emmets Senior Ladies traveled to Mallow to take part in the Munster 7s last weekend. This tournament provided the girls with the opportunity to play against some of the top senior teams in Munster. Having only 7 players on such a warm day made it almost impossible to get a result. Despite this the team gave everything and as always represented the club admirably. Panel: Meghan Galvin, Mary Beades, Rebecca Stapleton, Aoife Gallagher, Aoife Kennelly, Savannah McCarthy, Miriam O'Keeffe. Training continues this week for the coming County Championship and County League final.

Under a brilliant blue sky here in Frank Sheehy Park the under 14’s played an outstanding game of football against Castleisland Desmonds. Showing great skill and stamina in the heat Listowel had a comprehensive win. Their next game in the County League  is away to Ballyduff on Saturday at 6pm.

Listowel Emmets under 12’s were the winners of North Kerry Under 12 Girls Development Final in Moyvane last week. This was a tremendous achievement for the girls and all those who work with the team. It was fantastic to see so many girls turning out. On Friday they were back in action in the County League when they played Corca Duibhne at home but lost. Their next game is away to Rathmore.

Well done to all our under 12 and under 14 Emmets girls who played in the Cumann na mBunscoil finals narrowly losing to Balloonagh.

It is a busy time for the under 8/10 girls at present with the latter stages of the John B Keane League in full swing. Final round was on Monday June 10th with the finals on Friday June 14th.
Both under 8 / 10s traveled to Abbeydorney for a friendly game on Saturday 8th June.
