Listowel Emmets Ladies:

Listowel Emmets ladies secured their second win in the county league on Good Friday when

they played Austin Stacks in Mountcoal. Played in very cold windy conditions Listowel were on

top from the off and were convincing winners over the Tralee side who were missing a number of players. Listowel were also without a number of regulars due to illness and injury. Despite missing a number of scoring opportunities in the first half Listowel still scored 3-9 from play in the first 30 minutes. Playing against the breeze in the second half they girls worked very hard and added another 1-07 in the second half. Listowel will need to continue this run to ensure they are well positioned for the play off stages of the county league. With two games remaining; away to. Southern Gaels and at home to Castleisland, the next few weeks are very important.

Emmets U12 girls played Castleisland Desmonds at home on Easter Sunday. At half time both teams were even on the scoreboard. The Listowel girls lead by captain Niamh Canty showed great ability and skills in the second half but Castleisland proved a little too strong and went away with the win. A huge thank you to all the girls for turning up on Easter Sunday morning and having to leave their Easter Eggs till later in the day.

Our U14 have been busy training since the start of the season having now completed six sessions. They will play their first game at home to Currow on April 7th.

Gaelic4Mothers+Others have been easing their way back into training having weekly walks on Thursday evenings. Meeting at the clubhouse at 8pm. Why not join the girls and get out of the house for a walk every Thursday night. Bring and friend and set your own pace. Regular training will commence on April 11th.
