St. Patrick's Day Parade:

Anyone wishing to parade with Emmets on St.Patrick's Day should meet outside the Cash & Carry on the bridge road at 12.30pm sharp.

Emmets Ladies Juvenile Awards

: Listowel Emmets Ladies juvenile club (u-12s to u-16s) will hold their annual awards night at the clubhouse, Frank Sheehy Park on Friday night next 18th March at 6.15pm. Special Guest on the night will be Tom O'Sullivan, where at all possible please wear Emmets gear.

The County Semi Final for North of the County took place at the Community Centre Abbeydorney on Saturday night last March 12th. Congratulations to Saoirse Kennedy who represented Emmets on the night in the Solo Singing accompanied on guitar by Aoife Trench. Saoirse qualified on the night for the County Final which will take place in the Tintean Theatre, Ballybunion Sun 27th March @ 2.30pm. Congratulations to Bean an Ti, Brenda Dowling, Abbeydorney Club for doing such a fantastic job on the night keeping order and ensuring complete silence in the very packed hall for every competitor. Standard in all 8 categories was once again very high and provided for a most enjoyable night of entertainment. The North Kerry Football Board had a very successful outing with 5 Clubs going forward to the County Finals; Listowel Emmets, St Senans, Moyvane, Ballydonoghue, Tarbert.

The Inaugural Tim Kennelly U12 League

Quarter Finals continue this week, with final set for Tuesday 29th March.

Results & Fixtures:

A depleted Listowel Emmets side took their first points in the North Kerry League after a three point win over Ballyduff on a score line of Ballyduff 1-05 Listowel Emmets 1-08 . Emmets started brightly with points from David Sheehy, Mikey Paul Kelliher and John James Buckley, it was tit for tat from there and looked like a draw from mid way through the second half, however Mikey Paul Kelliher found himself in prime position and struck for goal in the dying minutes of the game to leave Emmets three points clear at the final whistle. Emmets now meet with Tarbert in Tarbert on Sunday next at 2.30pm.

Listowel Emmets Minors had an unlucky day at Frank Sheehy Park on Saturday evening last where they were defeated by Rathmore on a scoreline of 1-11 to 1-9. Emmets had a good spell of dominance but some chances went against them and were unlucky not to come away with a win. They now meet with Beaufort at home on Saturday next 19th March at 4.30pm.

Emmets Senior Ladies had a good away win over Scartaglin on Sunday on a scoreline of Emmets 4- 12 Scartaglin 0-4, they now top the division two table on three points. They now meet with Firies on Sunday next at 12 noon in Listowel.

Emmets Junior Ladies were defeated by Kerins O'Rahillys(2-3 to 1-3) in Listowel on Sunday last in a low scoring game, they next are away to John Mitchels on Sunday next.
