Brian McGuire, Brendan Guiney, Ger McCarthy, Denis Walsh, Noel Kennelly, Conor Cox all started while Jack McGuire Jamie Barry came on as subs. Brian Scanlan was the manager.

All parents are asked to return their signed forms for our end of season trip to Miltown Malbay of Clare next Saturday to ensure their place on the bus.

Emmets U16's

The North Kerry U-16 Championship Semi Finals take place on Sunday next 7th October in Ballylongford at 12 noon where Emmets meet with Ballydonoghue, best of luck to all involved

Listowel Emmets Ladies

Last Saturday was well and truly ladies day in Frank Sheehy Park with activities running from 10 am right up until 6. First up it was the Under 8,9 and 10's who played host to girls from Miltown Malbay in Clare and Kerins O'Rahillys in Tralee. While the visitors were treated to refreshments after their fantastic displays it was the turn of Listowel Gaelic4Mothers and others to host teams from Finuge St. Senans, Beale, Laune Rangers, Mourneabbey and Burren Gaels in the first ever Listowel Gaelic4Mothers and Others Blitz.

This was a fantastic event displaying all that is positive about ladies football; community, fun, and no shortage of skill. Many thanks to all who helped out with refereeing, catering and general organisation for the event.

Later that evening Listowel Emmets Senior Ladies defeated Na Gaeil in the North Kerry League giving them a place in the final with their opponents to be confirmed.

This weekend all roads lead to Croke Park where Listowel Emmets ladies will be represented by Breda Lane as the Kerry Ladies go in search for a senior All Ireland title. Breda coaches the Listowel under 14's and they will travel to support the team on the day along with many of her fellow senior players and club members. Best wishes to Breda and all the team.

Up coming fixtures

The under 14s and under 16s have games to play in the North Kerry league against Corca Dhuibhne and Castleisland, respectively, in the coming weeks.
