Fixtures are now in place for the championship so activities will increase for both adult teams over the coming weeks.

U16’s will return to competitive games in the County League Division 1 with their first game due to take place on July 16th at home to Kenmare. This could change if the Kerry U16 Munster final is scheduled for the same date.

U14’s played Finuge at home last Thursday in the County League. This was a very close game from the start and concluded with a dramatic finish when Finuge came from a goal behind to equalise in the last minute. The final score was 4-07 to 5-04.

The girls have secured their place in the County League Semi Final at home to Dr. Crokes this week.

Following on from the previous weekends North Kerry Blitz in Abbeydorney the U8’s/10’s took part in a blitz held in Finuge last Thursday. In what is turning out to be a rare occurrence the event took place under dry sunny conditions.

Training for girls takes place every Saturday morning at 10.30 A.M. in Frank Sheehy Park.

Gaelic4Mothers+Others is continuing to attract new members, if you would like to give it a try come along to St Michael’s College on Thursdays at 8.00 P.M.
