Emmets Saturday Morning Club: continues every Saturday at Frank Sheehy Park from 10.30am - 12noon.

Well done to all our young players who took part in the  Kellogg's Cul Camps. It was a great success and fantastic to have so many enthusiastic young people involved in our sport. Games will continue throughout the summer for the under 8/10’s and the Saturday Morning Club is on every week in Frank Sheehy Park at 10.30 am. The  under 10’s played a challenge game with our neighbours and host Duagh last Monday and will play Abbeydorney this Monday.
Inspite of their gallant efforts the under 16’s were defeated in the County League by Castleisland last Wednesday. Listowel were unfortunate to be missing a few players and it was a disappointed team and management to see their participation  in the  league cut short so soon.
Congratulations to Emmets player Breda Lane and the Kerry team in their win over Clare in the Munster Ladies Senior Championship. Best of luck to Breda and the girls in the upcoming final against Cork.

The under 12’s will host Tuam Cortoon Ladies, travelling all the way from Galway this weekend for a friendly match in Frank Sheehy Park at 3.00pm. Their end of season trip is being planned and Simon O’Flynn is hard at work coming up with the questions for his legendary bus quiz.

Gaelic4Mothers+Others continue training every Thursday at St Michael’s College at 8.00pm. The ladies are now also meeting on Tuesday evenings at 8.00pm at the Cow’s Lawn for a walk or run.
