Listowel Emmets Ladies

Both adult teams were in action last weekend with the Seniors playing their first ever County Championship on Friday against Sneem/Kenmare Crokes. With a number of players unavailable this was always going to be a difficult task and in the end the opposition proved too strong. The Seniors will now play na Haisaigh in the B Championship. The Juniors recorded a fantastic victory against John Mitchels in the County League on Saturday evening.

U16’s were away to Corca Duibhne in the County League Division One last Monday. A cracking game with Listowel leading by a point when Corca Duibhne equalized with seconds to go. Final score 3-08 to 1-14. After a bye this week there are two back games to be played against Rathmore and Kenmare.

U14’s had comprehensive win against Finuge in the 2nd round of the North Kerry League.

The U8/10’s received a new set of jerseys from Centra Listowel last week and had their first outing at a game in Abbeydorney. Many thanks to Centra Listowel for their generous support and commitment to our club.

Listowel Emmets will join forces with Duagh at the weekend to participate in the Mary Jo Curran Championship away to Southern Gaels Dromid Pearses.
