There will 2 draws made on this date. January and February's Draws will be drawn together on the night. The cost of the draw will be €5 per month which is less than the cost of a weekly Lottery Quickpick. The organising committee is currently selling tickets and we are encouraging people to sign up for a yearly ticket for €60 that will also include you in a special draw for 2 prizes of €100 each that will take place on the night of our first draw.
The annual prize fund will be €10,000 and there will be 8 guaranteed winners each month.
We fully appreciate the financial challenges facing our community at present but by supporting a successful Emmets Club, with players at all levels and ability, it will give the same community enormous pleasure now and in the years to come. We would like to acknowledge your support in the past and hope you will be equally generous again in supporting our club.

Listowel Emmets Ladies:
Emmets Ladies head into a busy week with the Social on Saturday night followed the next day by the National League Game hosted by the club on Sunday. This game will be Kerry Ladies first home game of the season when they will play Clare in Frank Sheehy Park on February 10th. Throw in is at 2.00 P.M. We will be looking for the support of everyone to ensure we provide a great day.

The Social is being held in the Listowel Arms Hotel and starts at 8.00 P.M. Tickets are €20 and can be purchased on the door.

Meanwhile our U12’s showed great determination and stamina when they all turned up to train last week on a very windy day. The girls will play their first game of the season in four weeks time. The U12’s train every Sunday between 11.00 A.M. - 12.00 P.M. at the back of the boy’s school. All girls born in 2001 - 2002 are welcome.

The Seniors continue training on Wednesdays at 6.30 P.M. and Sundays at 11.00 A.M. The opening game of their season will be on February 17th when they play Finuge / St Senan's in Division 1 of the North Kerry League.

Kerry Seniors:
Well done to Conor Cox who made his Senior debut for Kerry last Sunday against Mayo in Round 1 of the National Football League in Castlebar. Conor played very well and scored a brilliant point in the 1st half. Unfortunately Kerry were to come out 2nd best on the day. The other Listowel Emmets man to make the panel was Brian McGuire. Kerry play Dublin in Round 2 this Sunday in Killarney.

Sigerson Cup:
Prior to making his Senior debut for Kerry Conor Cox lined out with UCC in their defeat of UUJ in the 1st Round of the Sigerson Cup last Tuesday week. Conor had a brilliant game. He converted 6 frees in total. 2 of these were driven over from massive distance in very difficult conditions. Final Score: UCC 1-14 UUJ 0-09. UCC will now play St. Mary's of Belfast in the Quarter Final.
