Listowel Emmets Ladies

Well done to our U12’s who took part in the Munster Blitz in Killarney last Saturday with teams from Cork, Kerry and Limerick. A big thank you to our hard working coaches and parents for travelling and to all the players for showing great skill and commitment.

U14’s met Castleisland in the first round of the North Kerry League last Friday. Final score Castleisland 2-13 to Listowel 1-02. They will play Finuge/St Senans at home in the second round on Wednesday at 7.00 P.M.

The U16’s fixture against Rathmore was not played last Monday. The County League continues this Monday evening when they play away to Corca Duibhne in Annascual. No results at time of printing.

The Juniors played Causeway in the Novice Semi Final on Wednesday and were beaten in extra time following a fantastic brave committed performance. They will now participate in the Novice League in the coming weeks. The Seniors are scheduled to play Tralee in the Senior Championship on Friday.

Gaelic4Mothers+Others continues with training every Thursday night at 8.00 P.M. in St Michael’s College. We’ve had a great response to the programme with women from all age groups joining. It is a excellent way to introduce exercise in your life with absolutely no previous playing experience necessary. Call Ann on 087 969 1324 for information.

Golden Goal
Golden Goal tickets for this Sunday's Kerry V Donegal All Ireland 1/4 Final are available from John James Buckley, Conor Moriarty, Tom Walsh and John Hartnett.
