Seniors: Listowel Emmets Senior Ladies played Sneem /Kenmare on Friday night in the Semi Final of the Mary Jo Curran Cup which was played in Milltown. The team was short several senior players and despite this travelled in confident mood. However this all changed when a very strong Sneem/Kenmare stormed into an early lead which they never relinquished. In the second half an improved effort from all players gave the team an outside chance of a comeback with Aoife Shine scoring a penalty and goals from Caoimhe O Sullivan and Maimie Flynn helping to close the advantage, and a number of goal scoring chances were spurned also. the final score was Listowel Emmets 3-6 Sneem /Kenmare 4-12. Coaching Course: Kerry Ladies Football are held a very successful Fundamentals Coaching Course on Saturday last in Listowel Community Centre.
