Emmets Saturday Morning Club:

is travelling to Kerins O'Rahillys this weekend on Sat 7th May. Everyone to meet outside the boys school at 10am sharp. Any help with transportation would be greatly appreciated.

Emmets U6's:

training continues on Thursday evenings at Listowel Community Centre y from 6pm -7pm. Children must be born in 2005 / 2006 and must be attending primary school. All new members welcome.

Listowel Emmets would like to send their congratulations to John James Buckley and Karena McCarthy on their engagement.

Emmets Ladies:

Listowel Emmets Ladies will hold a Fashion extravaganza with a twist at Listowel Arms Hotel on Saturday 14th May at 8pm.

This new and innovative idea has come about from the players themselves namely Mary Beades, Kate Sayers, Jennifer Ryan and Meghan Galvin, to raise much needed funds for the club.

So what is the whole Sex and The City meets Emmets Ladies' Desperate Housewives all about?

Basically the Emmets Ladies are holding an "upmarket" sale of both new and nearly new designer label clothes, shoes, bags and Accessories. "We are asking everyone to have a root through their wardrobe and if they have anything they are not going to wear again to consider donating it to us. We hope to collect as much as we can so as to ensure the night is a great success."

Anyone wishing to make donations can do so at Listowel Town Park on Tuesday and Thursday evenings at 7.30pm, or if you cannot make these times simply contact Mary Beades 087 8667028

On the night, guests will be treated to a drinks reception where some top secret special guests at hand to give some fashion advice and tips.

We really hope everyone will support this fun and novel idea, and we would like to thank the various businesses in Listowel for all their encouragement and support.

training continues on Sat April 30th at 10.30 at St. Michael's College for Girls of the following ages Under7s (born in 2004), Under 8s (2003), Under 9s (2002), Under 10s (2001). All new players are welcome to join.

Emmets Senior Ladies

: take on in the semi final of the County League Division two against Firies this saturday 7th Mayin Listowel at 7pm

 Fixtures & Results:

Emmets U14's : Emmets meet with Annascaul/Lispole in the semi final of the co league at home on Wednesday 4th May at 7pm, your support would be greatly appreciated.

Emmets Juniors:

Emmets B play Beale B in Ballybunion Tuesday next at 7.30pm, and are at home to Moyvane B on 10th May at 7.30pm while the C team are away to Ballydonoghue B on Thursday 5th May at 7.30pm and are home against Tarbert B on Thursday 12th May at 7.30pm

Emmets Seniors:

meet with Milltown Castlemaine in the first round of the Intermediate Championship on Saturday night last and were defeated on a scoreline of Emmets 0-8 to Milltown Castlemaine 0-12. Emmets had a poweful first half performance and led by 4 at the break, thanks to some excellent work by the half forward and half back lines and some pin point shooting from Conor Cox. However, Milltown were a changed team in the second half and took 3 scores without replay from the Listowel side. Cox got another for Emmets and that was how it would stay for the remainder of the half for Emmets.

Emmets now meet Na Gaeil in the Intermediate Shield on Saturday night at 6.30pm in Na Gaeil
