Fundraising Table Quiz:A fundraising table quiz will take place in John B Keane's Bar on Friday night at 9pm for Emmets U8's and U10's, all money raised will go towards their end of season trip to Nemo Rangers. We hope to see a great crowd in attendance.
Emmets Saturday Morning Club:North Kerry Blitz's take place in Frank Sheehy Park on Saturday morning where the U8's, U9's and U10's are in action, from 10.30am - 12noon.
Club Meeting:A full meeting of the Listowel Emmets Club will take place on Wednesday night next 29th June at 9pm sharp.
Congratulationsto Emmets Seniors who were crowned Munster Intermediate 7's champions in Clonakilty on Saturday last. Emmets defeated St. Val's of Cork in the final by two points. Emmets Junior Ladies were in action also on Saturday and were unlucky not to come out of their group after winning 2 out of 4 of their games. Erin's Own defeated Emmets by a point to enter the semi final stages. Well done to the girls involved who put on a massive display and no doubt they will be back again next year.
A big thank you to all who supported Emmets Ladies recent bag pack at Garvey's supervalu and to Mary Horgan for co ordinating volunteers etc.

Emmets U21's:The 2010 North Kerry Championship begins this weekend where Emmets take on the combination side of Bally/Asdee in Coolard on Saturday 2nd July at 7.30pm. Best of Luck to all emmets players involved with Feale Rangers U21's who meet with Legion in their opening round of the Championship in mountcoal at 7.30pm on Monday 4th July.
Emmets Seniors:Listowel Emmets suffered a heavy defeat to St. Pat's Blennerville on Saturday night last on a scoreline of Emmets 0-5 St. Pat's Blennerville 1-14. An under strength Emmets started well in the opening quarter with points from Denis Walsh. Emmets defence worked well especially the full back line of Fergus Reen and Sean O'Mahony holding the St. Pat's Blennerville side to 5points and aided by a stiff breeze. Half time score Emmets 0-2, St. Pat's Blennerville 0-6
St. Pat's came out all guns blazing in the second half, and began to get on top at midfield breaking and winning the ball at ease, Emmets defence did well with the onslaught but failed to get the ball over the bar in this half, goal from Liam Sullivan ensured victory for the tralee side and two valuable points in the process. St. Pat's proved to be a lot stronger and fitter on the day, while the home side lack discipline and scoring forwards.

Emmets senior are next in action in Junior Shield Quarter Finals provinally fixted for the weekend of 9th July, they are next in action in the county league weekend 23rd July where they are away to Castleisland Desmonds.
