The U14 had a terrific  start to the North Kerry League when they had a comprehensive win over Currow last Sunday in Listowel. Well done girls!

Listowel Emmets Senior Ladies played host to Currow in the Mary Jo Curran Cup last Friday night and recorded a fine victory on a score line of 3-17 to 2-5.  This win was achieved on the back of a strong first half display which saw our girls outscore their opponents on a score line of 2-14 to 0-5.  The second half was a tighter affair but also allowed the management team to introduce, Abby McMahon and Evelyn O Flynn, two of the current under 16s, to make their senior competitive debuts and both did really well.  This win sets the team up nicely to qualify for the quarter finals and a win over Castleisland in two weeks time would guarantee a home tie. Team: Catherine Flavin, Rachel Stapleton, Maimie O Flynn, Megan Fealey, Mary Beades, Aoife Shine, Norma O Sullivan(0-1), Erin Finucane(1-2), Sarah O Brien(0-1), Miriam O Keeffe (0-8), Marguerite O Flaherty (0-1), Sarah Moriarty(1-3), Fiona Buckley (1-1). subs:Abby McMahon and Evelyn O Flynn
