Emmet Coiste na nÓg:

Saturday Morning Club: This weekend sees our U8's,9s and 10s back after their break for the races, and we host Milltown Malbay of Clare. Any help with sandwiches, buns, cakes etc on the morning would be most grateful.

Also we are only two weeks away from our end of season trip, so we would ask everyone to return their forms on Saturday morning so as to ensure your place on the bus.

U13s: Emmets have qualified for the semi finals of the Tommy Madden U13 North Kerry Championship where they await their opponents after a comprehensive win over Knock/Brosna on Monday night last, we wish them the very best of luck in the remainder of their games.

U16s: are back in training for the North Kerry Championship where they play Ballydonough in the Semi Final on Sunday 7th October at 12noon in Ballylongford.

Listowel Emmets Ladies

Listowel junior ladies had a good win on Sunday when they played Firies in the County Novice semi final. They now await the winners of John Mitchels or Beale v Dingle which will be know next week. Thank you to everyone for coming out on what was the end of a busy race week in Listowel.

Gaelic4Mothers+Others will host a mini blitz in Listowel on September 29th with seven teams now confirmed to take part. Listowel will host teams from Mourneabbey, Lisdoonvarna, Laune Rangers and two teams from both Finuge and Listowel. In addition to the regional blitz preparations are underway for the Ladies Gaelic Football Association National Blitz. This will take place on the 20th October in Dublin and will see teams from all over Ireland participate. In keeping with the objective of programme which is to provide women with an opportunity to be physically active within a non competitive framework, the day is planned to be family orientated with a festival atmosphere.

Finally there will be a Memorial game on Saturday October 13th for Garda Carmel O’Connor . A well-loved and integral member of the Listowel community who had passed away at the tragically young age of 41. This is a fantastic conclusion to this sporting programme which began earlier this year.
