EMMETS LADIES

Congratulations to the ladies from our Gaelic4Mothers+Others team who took part in the Munster Blitz in Cork last weekend. Well done to Deborah O’Flaherty on her brilliant coaching this season. Training continues every Thursday at 8.00pm at St Michael’s College.
In preparation for the Club Championship the seniors have played challenge matches with Mungret and St. Peters from Rock Chapel. Listowel will play Laune Rangers away in the semi final of the Senior Club Championship  on Tuesday June 25th throw in at 7.00pm.
After a break for the exams the under 16’s have resume training on Thursday’s. Their next game is away to Kenmare which Listowel need to win to stay in the top four to reach the playoffs of the county league. Meanwhile the under 14’s were to play Ballyduff in the County League but Ballyduff failed to field so Listowel came away with the points. However the trip to Ballyduff was not wasted as it was decided to play a challenge game with three Emmets girls playing for Ballyduff. Training continues on Friday evenings.

Following on from their fantastic training session on Thursday evening with Mary Beades in which  24 girls  took part the under 12’s were away to Austin Stacks on Friday evening.

The Saturday Morning Club continues each week in Frank Sheehy Park at 10.30 am. The Kellogg’s GAA Cúl Camp will run in Listowel from July 1st - 5th.
