The under 14’s have continued their very successful season in the County League with a comprehensive win against Na Gael on Saturday. Listowel are now through to the final.
The under 16’s secured a comfortable win over Kenmare in round 5 of the County League, Division 1. They will now play Castleisland on July 3rd at home and a win would secure a semi final place.
Congratulations to the ladies from our Gaelic4Mothers+Others team who took part in the Munster Blitz in Cork last weekend. Well done to Deborah O’Flaherty on her brilliant coaching this season. Training continues throughout the summer every Thursday at 8.00pm at St Michael’s College. This is a fitness programme based on the skills of ladies football and no prior experience is necessary to take part, it is open to all women.
Meanwhile our younger members also took part in a blitz. The under 10’s travelled to Abbeydorney for the North Kerry Blitz last Saturday. Listowel were one of the 15 teams that took part and it was a fantastic day out.  It was a participation tournament with no scores kept and the girls loved playing in it.  Thanks to all in Abbeydorney Ladies for hosting the blitz.
The Saturday Morning Club continues each week in Frank Sheehy Park at 10.30 am. The Kellogg’s GAA Cúl Camp will run in Listowel from July 1st - 5th.
