Emmets Ladies:
Last Saturday saw Emmets Ladies welcome Nemo Rangers to Frank Sheehy Park. The Cork club hosted our U10’s last year so all in Listowel Emmets were eager to return the hospitality shown to us by this great club. On a beautiful sunny morning this was a fun filled day providing plenty of football for girls and it was a great day for every girl who participated. The U10’s played three great games and finished the fourth on a high with a second half display that will boost the girls confidence going forward. Thank you to all the parents for their role as help was always on hand and a supply of food to feed the whole field. All those involved hope to maintain this relationship with Nemo and a return trip next spring is already being planned.

With a panel of two teams running all year it has been without any doubt a fantastic achievement to have so many girls participating in sport by all those involved with Ladies football here in Listowel. Following on from last weeks Developement Final which saw the Listowel Tigers play Finuge this week it was the turn of the Listowel Lions to play the Development Shield final against Castleisland. This has been a wonderful end to a successful season for the U12’s who now look forward to their end of year trip.

Well done to Aimee Mason who played with Kerry U12’s in Clarecastle, Co Clare last weekend. Great to see Aimee in her Kerry Jersey after all her hard work at training.
