Club Membership:

we would like to remind club supporters that 2011 membership of Listowel Emmets will close on 31st August 2011. Tickets for all inter county games are given to members first and foremost. Membership is available to Non Playing members incl OAPs at €50. Senior Players €70, Minors €40.

Club Gear

: Various Emmets Club gear is now available in JK Sports.

Emmets Sat Morning Club:

the excitement is starting to build with the Saturday morning club getting ready to host the Jim Corridan tournament on Sunday the 4th September, training continues this Saturday from 10.30am to 12noon, see you all there.

Emmets U13s:

Emmets had a fine victory over Kilcummin in Listowel on Sunday night last on a scoreline of 2-10 to 1-7 , Listowel are next at home to Desmonds on Sunday 21st of August at 7pm.

Emmets U16s:

Emmets were two point victors over Milltown on Saturday evening last in Listowel, a good performance from the listowel side who were missing a few key players secured victory on a score line of Emmets 1-9 Milltown Castlemaine 1-6.

Emmets Juniors:

Emmets B V Desmonds in the North Kerry Junior Championship on Wednesday 17th August at 7pm in Duagh. They are also in action in the Barrett Cup quarter final on Friday night 19th August at 7pm in Listowel where they meet with Annascaul.

Emmets Seniors

: Listowel Emmets and Kilcummin met in round 8 of the county league on Saturday evening last in Listowel, the home side got off to a great start thanks to Conor Cox and with ten minutes left in the half the home side were 5 -1 up. Emmets had a chance to put further daylight between them and the Killarney side when Conor Cox's one on with the Kilcummin keeper ended up over the bar. Kilcummin added a further two from O'Donoghue and McCarthy leaving it 5 a piece at the break . On the restart Emmets added over another point from Conor Cox but Kilcummin piled on the pressure gathering a lot of breaking ball, taking 4 scores in the process, while the home side kicked 4 wides, Emmets had a strong final quarter and thanks to Conor Cox and Shane Quinn brought them back within two points of Kilcummin leaving the final score Emmets 0-9 Kilcummin 0-11. Emmets will feel unlucky on the day as it was game they should have got something from as the race to stay in division two intensifies.
