Emmets U16 North Kerry League Final: Emmets captained by Eddie Browne defeated St. Senan’s in the North Kerry league final on Sunday last in Duagh on a scoreline of 3-11 to 1-9. This game was far from a stroll in the park as the score line suggests with nothing between the sides until the final quarter as Emmets Adam Scollard Mulvihill hit the back of the Senan’s net and ignited Emmets attack, further scores from Shane Hughes, Sean Hannon and Darren Loughnane ensured victory. A jubilant Eddie Browne accepted the North Kerry Shield. A big thank you to Duagh for hosting a great game in tough conditions, and to St. Senan’s who provided a great game and were very sporting in defeat.

Emmets Ladies
U 16s are in training on Mondays and Thursdays at 6pm in St. Michaels.
U 14s Training continues this Weds evening at 6pm in the Cows Lawn , well done to our community games team for their participation in the Kerry Community Games competition held in Killarney last Monday , Kaci Jo played through the pain barrier with a sore leg , Zara was on fire with a brace of goals , Sally was super in both attack and defense and Aimee Mason was absolutely flying , next up is Kenmare at home Sunday evening at 6pm
Our U12s played Moyvane in the last of the 4 county preliminary matches on Tuesday evening and came away with a fine win. The Emmets girls took control in the first half playing with a strong breeze and put in a strong defensive display in the second half to complete a comfortable win.
The other big news from the U12 camp is that due to the increase in panel size over recent weeks, Emmets ladies will now be entering 2 teams into a county league competition for the first time ever. This is a fantastic achievement for the club. A big thank you to all the players and their parents.
There should be a decision from the county board in the next week or so regarding the divisions our teams will be playing in, while the league itself will likely kick off the week after next.
Training continues as usual on Thursday evenings at 7:30 in the boys school.

Under10 training continues on  Saturdays at 5 pm. at the  boys school field.
